Quite possibly my favourite vodka, Mermaid Salt Vodka is a spirit that captures the essence of the sea in a bottle. Crafted on the Isle of Wight using locally sourced ingredients and a proprietary filtration process that involves Isle of Wight rock sea salt, this premium vodka offers a flavour profile that is both delicate and complex.

The vodka itself is crystal clear and boasts a silky-smooth mouthfeel. On the palate, you’ll experience a soft sweetness reminiscent of grains, a mild peppery finish, and a gentle salinity that enhances the overall flavour without overpowering it.

The English Whisky Sherry Cask Matured Single malt 46% ABV

The English Whisky Sherry Cask Matured is an absolute gem and a standout in the world of fine single malts. Distilled in Norfolk at the aptly named English Distillery, this fine liquid is aged in a in sweet Pedro Ximénez sherry cask.

Its beautiful bronze colour, provides a sense the richness and complexity here. The nose is a sweet embrace of sherry making, a bold entrance indeed, followed by hints of dried fruits, vanilla, and a subtle whisper of oak.

On the palate the sherry influence is unmistakable, contributing a luscious sweetness that intertwines seamlessly with notes of dark chocolate, caramel, stewed fruits and a touch of spice. The mouthfeel is velvety and luxurious. There are lots of layers to savour, presenting an impeccable balance, nothing short of perfection if you like a sweet whisky.

The Dissertation is a limited-edition rye whisky produced by The Oxford Artisan Distillery in the heart of England. It is a unique and notable spirit that reflects the rich history and culture associated with the city of Oxford, as well as the distillery’s commitment to craftsmanship and sustainability.

This exceptional whisky was meticulously crafted through the use of two distinct casks, each featuring unique mash bills. One of these casks, formerly used for Ramandolo wine, lends a sweet Italian wine influence to the whisky, while the other is a traditional American Oak Cask. The Ramandolo cask was filled with a 100% rye mash bill, contributing to the development of its sweet and delicate floral notes. In contrast, our traditional mash bill, composed of approximately 70% rye, 20% wheat, and 10% malted barley, was employed in the American Oak Cask. Mr. Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur was founded in 2013 by Philip Moore, a renowned Australian distiller, and designer Tom Baker. Moore’s background in horticulture and spirit making gives him a deep understanding of the ingredients and processes involved in creating a delicious liqueur.

Mr. Black is made just north of Sydney using coffee beans sourced from the world’s best growing regions. The cold press coffee expression uses beans from Brazil, Papua New Guinea, and Ethiopia, and each bottle is produced by hand.

The aroma of freshly ground coffee greets you as you open the bottle, with a hint of vanilla tempering the bitterness. On the palate, espresso takes the lead, joined by deep cocoa and a welcome acidity. The 1100mg of caffeine per litre is evident in the lingering coffee finish, which mellows out gradually like a good cup of coffee.
