`I wanted to address the tendency towards fleeting handbag trends with this collection. I aimed to create classic designs that would stand the test of time, investment pieces for women – pieces that could take them through every stage of life.`

American born Alexandra DeClaris started her studies at Stateside before relocating to London to complete her education. Upon graduation, she moved to New York and began her career working for Vanity Fair Magazine.

Embarking on a career in fashion, Alexandra felt that it was time to invest in an exotic skin handbag, but was shocked to find that all those on the market hovered around the $6,000 price mark. Her discovery ignited a passionate search for manufacturers who might make her vision of a luxurious and relatively affordable handbag a reality.
