Bang and Olufsen Beosound 4 and Beolab 4
I don’t think there has ever been any doubting the quality of Bang and Olufsen products. Their styling is virtually timeless and the engineering is almost always perfect. But are they cutting edge anymore? I’m not convinced, but you still can’t take away the pure excellence of the Beosound 4 and Beolab 4.
Retailing for £2,500 ($4,000). Bang and Olufsen describe this product as follows:
“With a built-in CD, radio, SD card slot and optional DAB radio, BeoSound 4 breaks new ground for accessibility to listening experiences. The dark display panel invites you to approach, where a bit of Bang & Olufsen magic awaits.
Completing the compact listening experience at home is the new BeoLab 4 loudspeaker that in concept and execution matches BeoSound 4 perfectly. Recording radio or CDs from BeoSound 4 to the SD card lets you take play your music anywhere on the BeoSound 3 portable music system or the BeoSound 2 digital music player.”
You won’t find a safer pair of hands than B & O, their products rarely fail to deliver. But do you get a bigger bang for your buck elsewhere? The answer is unequivocally yes.
