Valmont Club, Chelsea – Review

Cleverly hidden just off of Fulham Road in Chelsea, London lies the trendy yet sophisticated Valmont Club. Only spotting it due to the bouncer and rope outside it`s THE place to be as it`s the only club listed in GQ Magazine`s Top 100 Best Things In The World.

Got your attention yet? Good! The club was built on the site that used to be the famous music venue Café Des Artistes where you would have spotted celebs such as Bowie and The Stones and was designed by renowned award winning bar designer Lee Broom. The décor is tastefully chic, with neon playing a big part. Impressive sculptures are displayed throughout the club which consists of the Main Lounge, the Electric Salon, the Neon Lounge and Dance Floor with a lighting system like no other seen in London. Private Booths are also available, so why not reserve you and your party one where you`ll receive personal waitress service all evening and have individual volume.

Descending down a set of black stairs felt like we were stepping into a swanky underground apartment. The dimmed lighting and the tasteful gold beading made for an intimate atmosphere whilst the up to date danceable music added to the relaxed vibe. Our reserved seating area consisted of black throne style luxurious chairs and a candle lit table. With a great view of the club we could spot the private booths along a corridor hidden by the gold beading, away from prying eyes.

An array of gorgeous inventive cocktails and other alcoholic beverages were on offer including the rather impressive Dom Perignon 1995 and Louis Roederer Cristal 2000. The vodka and lemonade went down well as did the superb tasting Spring Punch which consisted of Wyborowa vodka and Chambord shaken with lemon juice and sugar then topped with Veuve Cliquot Champagne. A perfect drink to get you in the clubbing mood.

Be warned it does get packed so remember to reserve a table! Although come the end of the night I`m sure you`ll be up and dancing. Being London`s most in-demand destination venue, The Valmont Club truly is a spectacular unforgettable experience.
