Cheap London Meals are here, this is better than a cheap London restaurant…

This is food experts Jun Tanaka, Executive Chef at Pearl Restaurant, and Mark Jankel, chef and founder of The Food Initiative, cooking up gourmet food for Londoners to eat on the go.

Complete with a wonderfully retro airstream kitchen, The two chefs will be selling a seasonal British menu, serving dishes such as Home Smoked Salmon and Braised Featherblade of Beef. All dishes will cost between £4.50 – £6.50.

Jerusalem Artichoke Soup with Home Made Organic Brioche £4.50

Where else in London can you pick up food of this quality, cooked by such experienced and esteemed chefs…and at these prices?!! We have never had it so good for cheap restaurants London .

Last week saw Street Kitchen based in Covent Garden. Street Kitchen will go on to visit two other landmark London locations finishing at the closing ceremony of the festival in Old Spitalfields Market on 18 October.

A little about the chefs –

Jun regularly appears on BBC1 Saturday Kitchen. He was also a presenter on Market Kitchen, as well as fronting his own TV series, Cooking It on Channel 4.

Mark has been building up his culinary experience for the last ten years, working with, amongst others, Philip Howard at The Square, Jun Tanaka at Pearl and Raphael Duntoye at Le Petite Maison.
