Celebrating Special Occasions with the World’s most expensive champagne

Special occasions deserve to be celebrated in style, and what better way than to celebrate them with the world’s most expensive champagne?

Taste of Diamonds

Created by designer Alexander Amosu and Swarovski, Taste of Diamonds champagne is priced at £1,200,000. It comes in a bottle embellished with an engraved, superman-inspired plaque crafted from solid, 18k white gold weighing in at almost 48 g and bearing a white 19 carat Swarovski diamond. Every aspect of the bottle’s design is hand-finished by a dedicated master craftsman with more than 40 years of experience.

Reflecting a refreshing, fresh and floral finish, Taste of Diamonds is blended from Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir and Grand Gru Chardonnay grapes (100 per cent rated). Its light, elegant finish is paired with a creamy, luxurious texture with the smoothness of silk.

John Calleija Champagne Glasses

Luxurious champagne like this is perhaps best enjoyed in luxury glasses like those purchased by an anonymous businessman from Melbourne. Sold to this gentleman at $400,000, this one-of-a-kind pair of glasses was designed by John Calleija. Five jewellers took three months to turn 8 kg crystal blocks into the two 15 cm tall glasses, weighing just 250 g each.

Featuring a total of 1,700 of white (15 carats) and rare argyle pink (6 carats) diamonds, these, the world’s most expensive champagne glasses, were (not surprisingly) the centre of attention at the opening of Calleija’s second London store.
