The Collars and Coats ball has to be one of the most exclusive fund raising events. With the 2010 ball being a celebration of 150 years, It is also possibly the most exciting.
Battersea Dogs And Cats home was founded in 1860 by Mrs. Mary Tealby. Relying totally on donations, this is a charity we should all be proud of – Even up to today, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home have never turning away a dog or cat in need of help.

The Ball, in the presence of the passionate President of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, HRH Prince Michael of Kent is set to be the best yet.
Although this has not been made public knowledge, my well placed source tells me Amanda Holden will host the evening.
Previous attendees have included Simon Cowell and Dame Judi Dench. Again, this year, expect to see the very best coming out for the evening to show their support for the organisation.
The star-studded evening will open with a unique and memorable welcome of a guard of honour from 150 Battersea dogs and their handlers, followed by a champagne reception, gourmet banquet, and a line-up of top billing entertainment.
Alexandra Burke, Roger Daltrey, the cast of Phantom of the Opera and Jersey Boys will be among the performers.
Underlying the celebration is the more serious business of raising vital funds to ensure Battersea Dogs & Cats Home continues to go from strength to strength to provide a second chance to the dogs and cats in its care, as it embarks on its next 150 years. Revellers will have the opportunity to bid in one of the most exclusive money can`t buy `auctions` with an array of luxury prizes donated by Battersea Dogs & Cats Home supporters.
