Looking for a new gin for the Autumn season, or are you looking for “ginspiration” this Bonfire Night? Either way, you will need to read this. All the fun of bonfires and fireworks aren’t the only reason to be excited, as Marylebone Gin (a premium small batch gin) have created a range of exciting seasonal cocktails. Read on to find out more!

Through thoughtful branding the gin creates a stylish homage to Georgian architecture and the cultural heritage of the Marylebone Pleasure Gardens and Marylebone Village. The result is a gin with a strong sense of identity, therefore making it quite alluring, when compared to more generic gins on the market. In fact, the brand itself has quite the history, with veteran drinks expert Johnny Neill, descendant of 8 generations of gin distillers through his Greenall Whitley family background. The combination of tasteful branding and this wealth of experience is a refined, exciting and enjoyable gin.

Marylebone Gin is distilled ins small batches and utilises botanicals that would have been associated with the Pleasure Gardens in years past. Today, Marylebone have sourced the finest ingredients from across the world and they are distilled in the centre of London itself.  There is a pleasant zestiness to the gin, leant through grapefruit, lemon balm and lime flower. Plus, on the nose, there is a complex florality, thereby adding another dimension.

This excellent gin originally launched exclusively to Selfridges; however, it has since been added to the rosters of Majestic and Ocado. We expect this gin will become more and more successful, it’s a real hit for us.

“I’ve launched The Pleasure Gardens Distilling Company to bring Gin distilling right back into the heart of Marylebone, to a site just a stone’s throw from where the Pleasure Gardens used to lie.

My family have had a strong association with Marylebone village since the early 1980’s and I spent many wonderful years living in the area.

I’m extremely excited to be working alongside our partners at The Marylebone Hotel where Isabella, our beautiful copper pot still is now sitting, and from which we intend to develop fun, interesting and locally handcrafted products.”
