Get fit for Summer at the Alladale Fitness Retreat
All exercises are supervised by professional fitness trainers so don`t worry if you`re finding anything confusing or too hard – they are there to support and guide you. The Retreat is mainly aimed at people to take part in a fitness routine that will overall change lifestyles and open the mind to new and exciting ideas!
Located North of Inverness the Alladale Fitness Retreat is set on rugged hills and glens which definitely makes a change from the gym. If to loose weight and build up self confidence are your main goals then I`m sure you`ll achieve them by taking part. The six night stay will include hiking up the glen, sprinting on the beach along the coast (sounds like a scene from a romantic film or something), mountain biking, circuit training and boxing so there`s plenty of variety to keep you from getting bored. Massages and body sculpting programmes such as Pilates are also on the agenda to help you unwind and tend your aching muscles.
To make the experience feel more like a mini break than a boot camp you`ll be staying at Alladale Lodge in stylishly designed en-suite double rooms. You will also have full access to the sauna, a small indoor gym, games room and living room complete with an open fireplace. Sounds rather pleasant yes?
Your hunger will be satisfied with healthy, fresh, locally sourced, organic food which is prepared by the resident `Prue Leith` chef so you can enjoy three low fat meals a day.
When the time comes to leave the Retreat don`t fret over if you`ll be able to keep up the diet and exercise because you will receive an `after care` pack and expert advice on how to incorporate and adapt all that you`ve learnt into your daily routine. It may be hard to follow through at the beginning as your motivation may drop, but give it a chance and you may surprise yourself.
The Alladale Fitness Retreat is based on two sharing from £1,950 per person and includes full board accommodation, transfers to and from Inverness airport (subject to suggested flight times), all activities, and training (both group and individual), nutritional workshops & advice, two massages and a 4×4 wilderness safari. Flights are not included.
