Campaign For Wool Auction – Ends December 10th 2010
When you think of Daniel Craig`s Bond, a fair percentage of you are going to have the mental image of 007 emerging from the sea in his blue speedo`s.
Right, I have your attention! It`s not the speedo`s that are of interest right now, but the fine wool suit Daniel Craig wore in Quantum of Solace.
The Campaign For Wool is holding an exclusive online auction, with one of the lots being an exclusive bespoke suit created from cloth woven by Taylor & Lodge, whose fabric the mighty Tom Ford used for the suit pictured below.
This `high – end ebay`, if you like, is running now, with bidding closing on 10th December.
Other lots of interest include a limited edition twin set from Pringle of Scotland, created in Partnership with Tatler. This is a chance to own a piece of history, this being one of only 195 produced worldwide.
Contemporary British designer Richard Nicoll has created an exclusive dress created specifically for the Campaign for Wool, made from fine Merino wool.
For the bedroom, superior king size bed from luxury bed maker Vi-Spring have donated The Shetland Supreme, valued at over £18,000. This is upholstered exclusively in Platinum Certified British fleece. A bed like no other, I have just checked the bidding and this is currently well under valuation.
The Campaign for Wool is focused on educating the younger generation, used to `disposable` fashion. Wool is Comfortable, fashionable and long-lasting, and importantly, ecologically sound.
This fantastic auction has so many more high end items, unique to the Campaign For Wool.
