New Jack Vettriano unveiled @ Aberdeen Asset Management Great Scot Awards 2012 at Boisdale

The Aberdeen Asset Management Great Scot Awards 2012 take place on November 27th at Boisdale, the luxury restaurant group that founded the awards in 2009.

The awards celebrate the best in Scottish Fashion, Film & Theatre, Literature & the Arts, Music, Charity, Media and Sport and saw Annie Lennox pick up the Great Scot Award last year.

Iconic Scottish artist and a former winner, Jack Vettriano, renowned for his painting `The Singing Butler` which sold at Sotheby`s for close to £750,000, is creating an exclusive never before seen painting especially for the Great Scot Awards 2012 and the night of the awards will be the first time that it has ever been seen.

This work of art will surely attract significant interest from collectors and enthusiasts the world over and the aim is to raise well over £100,000 on the night with all of the auction prize money being donated to a selection of Scottish charities.
