Dom Perignon Oenotheque Vintages at The Chester Grosvenor and Spa

If you love the whole luxury lifestyle part of life, then why not head over to The Chester Grosvenor and Spa. They are offering the most impressive and comprehensive selection of Dom Perignon`s Oenotheque vintages!

The Oenotheque Collection means `Library of Wines` and Dom Perignon is offering guests, who purchase a bottle of Dom Perignon Oenotheque champagne, a complimentary guest room or suite to enhance their experience. Garry Clark, Sommelier at The Chester Grosvenor and Spa says –

`For me, what makes Oenothéque so remarkable is the extra dimension that the late disgorgement makes to the wines. Those extra years spent on the lees (the yeast deposits) give the wines a resounding richness that fills the palate with complex flavours and seems to last for ages. I`ve been privileged enough to have tasted many of the Oenothéque wines, from the 1959 through to the younger second plenitude wines of the 70`s and 80`s to the first plenitude wines of the 90`s. They all have something unique to offer, and while they remain essentially Dom Pérignon, they each have their own defining character.`

Now I`m not the kind of person who knows a lot about wines, but I do know that Dom Perignon is still known as one of the best champagnes in the world. Prices for these well known vintages ranges from £500 to a hefty £2100. The older the wine, the more expensive so which one you choose all depends on how much you`re willing to pay. Not only will you be offered a complimentary room at The Chester Grosvenor and Spa though, but you`ll also receive an exclusive boxed Dom Perignon branded glasses and a silver branded cork-shaped box as a keepsake with all the releases except the 1995 year one when your stay is pre-booked.

Life must be treating you well if you can afford to splash your cash on a £2100 bottle of wine!
