Iconic Prints at Brompton Quarter Brasserie
The fantastic Brompton Quarter Brasserie is to host a rock n roll exhibition featuring iconic prints from 3 legendary photographers, David Montgomery, Terry O’Neill and Baron Wolman.
The Rock and Roll photography Exhibition features some amazing shots of your favourite rock star. Spanning through the decades, Most musical Icons are here, Including Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Rod Stewart and Amy Winehouse. To be able to view (and purchase) these exclusive prints at The Brompton Quarter Brasserie is a great idea.
Situated on the fast-paced Brompton Road, close to Harrods, The Brompton Quarter Brasserie has always been a great spot for relaxing with easy-to-share dishes like caramelised butternut squash; grilled artichoke salad; and bocconci mozzarella. By Night, The brasserie has a buzz perfect for the Young fashionistas of the capital, with the lower floor providing a more intimate affair.
My favourite has to be Jimi Hendrix, really working his stuff at The Fillmore Auditorium in 1968. Shot by Baron Wolman this limited edition, Platinum print is £1338.
Another true icon and a brilliant image is that of Chrissy Hynde. Also taken in 1968, this time by David Montgomery is £2450.
A modern classic, with all the Rock and roll credentials is Amy Winehouse, shot by Terry O’Neil in 2005 for £1998.
Go check out this excellent exhibition, enjoy everything about the Brasserie and maybe come home with a classic…..A classic print is what I mean, for all those that just sniggered.
