Looking for a bank holiday cocktail to get you in the mood for relaxation? We have a selection of three stunning cocktails that will set your bank holiday alight with flavour and finesse!

Tanqueray London Dry Gin Mexican Collins

RECIPE
50ml Tanqueray London Dry Gin (2 units)
50ml ginger & lime syrup  
Infused with chilli (see below)
125ml soda water
1 stalk basil garnish
Ice

To make the syrup: 
2 cups sugar
, 1 cup water, 
1 inch of fresh ginger, 
2 cups fresh lime juice
, 1/2 red chili, sliced lengthways, seeds removed
.

METHOD
Make a 2:1 simple syrup by combining two parts sugar to one part water in a pan.
Roughly cube one inch of ginger, add to the pan, and simmer gently for 5 minutes, taking care not to boil.. 
Remove from the heat, strain or spoon out the ginger, and allow to cool before adding fresh lime juice. 
Bottle with fresh chili and leave to infuse for a couple of hours until you can taste the chilli kick.

WOOD’S GREENHEART GROG COCKTAIL

RECIPE
50ml Wood’s Navy Rum
20ml Ruby grapefruit juice
20ml Lime juice
20ml Honey
Ginger beer

METHOD
Add all ingredients, other than ginger beer, to a blender with ice and blend. Pour into a glass and top with ginger beer. Garnish with a mint sprig.

RECIPE
55 ml Wild Turkey 101
20 ml simple syrup
20 ml fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 egg white
3 dashes of Angostura bitters

METHOD
Add first four ingredients to shaker and shake without ice to emulsify. Then add ice and shake again. Strain into coupe glass and top off with dash of bitters.
