Nyetimber Classic Cuvee MV (from £36.99)
If you are looking for an alternative to champagne, then we would suggest you look no further than Nyetimber, one of the finest English Sparkling wines.
In terms of the similarities between English sparkling and champagne, they are both created using similar grapes, they are both produced in a similar climate and they both are produced in a very similar fashion. However, the taste can be dramatically different due factors such as the age of the vines and slight mineral differences in the soil.
As a tip, we would suggest that you take the foray into English sparkling wine and that you give it a go – it really is a great experience for those who love a glass fizz.
Nyetimber Classic Cuvee MV is a wonderful aperitif to toast in the yule tide festivities. There is an abundance of gentle bubbles, which perfectly compliment the golden hue of this gorgeous sparkling win. On tasting you will find a slightly spiced aroma, then on the palate apple and honey.
This is one of our favourite drinks of the entire Festive season!
