The Rolex Comex Submariner with its unique model number was developed by Rolex and Comex to meet the growing demands of professional divers and the spectacular development of underwater exploration back in the late 70`s. The 5514 was not available to the public. It differs from the 5513 in that it has a Helium Escape Valve on the right side of the case.
