Men’s Couture Style Athletic Footwear set to hit Shelves in September – Lanvin Couture Sneakers

Haute couture shows for Spring/ Summer 2014 and the latest Fashion Week rounds revealed a a trendy new range of couture style athletic shoes – from leather high tops to lightweight running shoes – for ladies. Up to now, men had to ‘make do’ with fairly ‘ordinary looking’ athletic footwear, but this is to change dramatically in the coming season.

Lanvin Couture Sneakers for Men

Lanvin Homme, recently revealed a brand-new collection of haute couture sneakers for men. Set to go on sale in the autumn/ winter season of this year, the new ‘Running Show’ sneakers will hit the shelves of Lanvin stores and, of course, the brand’s Website, in mid-September.

Materials and Details

The high-end materials for these new athletic shoes include ‘polished python’, ‘lizard skin’ rubber, and textured or smooth calf leather. Sneakers will also feature fine couture details like side zippers and metal-accented laces covered by elastic flaps, for example.

Colour Choices

Drawing from a large palette of neutral and sophisticated, as well as flashy tones, the collection will include a wide range of colour choices including taupe, brown and black; mint green, turquoise and zebra print; pink, fuchsia and orange. The Cost

Unfortunately, it has not been possible to find a price for this new range as yet, but considering the price of other sneakers made by Lanvine Homme, it is fairly safe to say that they will not be cheap by anyone’s standards.
